He successfully completed Effective Strategies for Media Companies program from Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2009. He had a brief stint with the World Bank Assisted Project, before he veered into Journalism in 1998. He started his journalism career with Thisday Newspapers from where he took a leave of absence when he was appointed media assistant to the minister of transport and later Aviation, Federal republic of Nigeria, from 2000 to2003.While at this, he also worked as a consultant with Business in Africa, London. Asiwe, who is married and blessed with three children, is an ardent sportsman, researcher and public affairs commentator. He is a firm believer that a man’s word must coincide with his deed and a stickler for equality, liberty and justice for all.
