Popular Yoruba Actress, Bisi Komolafe, Passes

Just few hours into Year 2013, Nigeria’s movie industry has been hit by its first tragedy of the New Year, with the death of Bisi Komolafe, a popular Yoruba actress.

Bisi passed on few hours ago at the University College Hospital (UCH) of the University of Ibadan. Her death, according to industry sources, was the result of complications she suffered with her four-month-old pregnancy

She had a miscarriage and was rushed to the hospital, where she later died.

The late Bisi has featured in several movies, including Igboro Ti Daru and Eja Tutu, playing prominent roles.
