Buhari seeks Senate  approval  for 42 Ambassadorial  nominees

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday requested the Senate to screen and confirm 41 non-career and one career ambassadors for appointment.

 

The letter of request was read on the floor at plenary by Ahmad Lawan, President of the Senate.

 

The nominees include the outgoing Editor-in-chief of the Guardian, Debo Adesina (Oyo), Former-Minister of State for Defence, Ademola Seriki (Lagos), erstwhile  House Member, Adejare Bello (Osun) and Ex-Commissioner for information in Delta State, Oma Djeba.
